Please stop riding the below models immediately. We advise our customers to also stop riding 4iiii and Stages Powermeter versions also and to follow the information below. 


Shimano Europe has implemented a voluntary inspection and replacement program only for these road cranksets produced before July 2019 for a possible bonding separation issue. Shimano Europe has now received the finalised approval from the European safety authorities to publish its own safety notice relevant to the European region.

Location of model number and production code

Before removing the crankset from the bicycle, confirm that the model number and production code match one of the target crankset models. Please do not remove the cranks before speaking with a dealer. Please stop riding immediately.

What to do if you have an affected model?


If you have an affected model you should visit your local shimano dealer for a resolution. If Sigma Sports is your local dealer please reach out to warranty@sigmasports.com with your order number and Shimano Recall in the subject of the email. We will then reach out to you to confirm the next steps.
